Position Overview

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging and innovative music lesson plans that align with NYS standards and District curriculum, considering the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our students;
Rehearse the Middle School level chorus;
Develop a lesson schedule and teach group lessons to vocal students;
Teach general music or adaptive classes;
Create a welcoming classroom environment where every student feels respected and supported;
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students, including those with varying learning styles and backgrounds;
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student success and well-being; and
Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance teaching skills.
Salary

Salary Range: $52,100 - $116,209 (Master\'s Steps 1-22); $47,072 - $99,337 (Bachelor\'s Steps 1-22)
