Video Editor (Reels/Shorts)

Our client is seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join their team in Dearborn, MI. This is a part-time position that will be responsible for taking long videos and creating reels and shorts from them.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and create high-quality reels and shorts from long videos
Work closely with the content team to understand the vision and style of each project
Use video editing software to enhance footage, add effects, and create a cohesive final product
Ensure all videos meet brand standards and are visually appealing
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop new ideas for video content
Manage and organize video files and assets
Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work within a timely manner
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role
Previous video editing work
Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to take direction and implement feedback effectively
Flexible schedule and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
