Torch is seeking a volunteer videographer to support filming for an upcoming Special Olympics competition and interviews with the organizing team as part of the TORCH docuseries exploring equality in elite athletics.
Filming will take place in New York City and Utica, NY over the next month. This can be one videographer covering both locations or two separate collaborators.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has documentary or event filming experience
Is comfortable filming live sports + interviews
Has experience shooting with a gimbal
Owns their own camera, audio, lighting, and stabilization equipment
Has reliable transportation
Scope:
Approximately 2 filming days total
Capture event footage, b-roll, and interviews
Help document stories around inclusion, performance, and equality in sports
This is a great fit for someone building a documentary, sports, or impact storytelling portfolio.
Potential for future paid opportunities on upcoming TORCH productions.
