Director of Sales & Marketing | Select Service Hotel | Miami Airport
This is an exceptional opportunity for a commercially driven sales leader ready to own the revenue strategy for a 200-room airport hotel.
The Role
As Director of Sales, you will lead all commercial activity for the property, from group and corporate sales segment strategy, digital marketing, and revenue positioning. You will report directly to hotel ownership/senior leadership and play a pivotal role in driving top-line performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy across group, corporate and OTA segments
- Lead, coach, and grow a sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Build and maintain key accounts across SMERF and corporate verticals
- Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, channel mix, and demand generation
- Oversee brand marketing initiatives, digital presence, and PR efforts
- Represent the property at trade shows, industry events, and client engagements
- Prepare and present performance reporting, forecasts, and strategic plans to ownership
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of progressive hotel sales leadership experience, with at least 2 years at the Director level.
- Proven track record in a Marriott full or select service hotel.
- Strong background in group and crew.
- Experience managing a sales team and cross-functional collaboration with Revenue Management.
- Excellent communicator, relationship builder, and closer
- Certified Hotel Sales Leader (CHSL) and Certified Hospitality Digital Marketer (CHDM) are considered assets.
