Search Consultant , you will
independently run retained searches
for manager, director and VP-level roles. You will serve clients, guide candidates, and lead search execution with clarity, hospitality, and excellence — growing your capabilities over time toward more strategic, executive-level consulting.
This role blends
sourcing mastery, candidate discernment, relational communication, and ownership , all grounded in FireSeeds’ mission and values.
Position Objective
Lead & Manage Retained Searches
You will run searches from intake to placement. You’ll partner with the client to define the role and the ideal candidate profile, translate that into a clear sourcing strategy, and hold ownership of the search rhythm — ensuring momentum, clarity, and proactive communication.
Partner with Clients Throughout the Search
You will often serve as the primary point of contact for your searches. You will lead weekly update calls, present candidate insights, manage expectations, and help clients make thoughtful and timely hiring decisions with confidence and care.
Source & Engage Candidates
You will identify and engage qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and creative sourcing tools. You will represent both the role and the client with enthusiasm, clarity, and hospitality — building trust quickly and generating meaningful candidate pipelines.
Discern Candidate Fit
You will conduct Welcome Calls and Zoom Interviews using FireSeeds interviewing principles — evaluating each candidate’s strengths, motivations, story, character, experience, and cultural alignment. You will summarize insights concisely and present them clearly to clients.
Guide the Process with Clarity
You will coordinate interviews, communicate next steps, gather compensation and timeline details, perform reference checks, and ensure that both candidates and clients feel supported and cared for throughout the process — while maintaining consistent forward movement.
Grow Toward Senior Consultant
This role has a clear developmental pathway toward Senior Search Consultant, where you will lead more complex, executive-level searches.

Qualifications
3+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition required
Experience with account management, direct client-facing, or hiring manager-facing recruiting, highly preferred
Experience filling manager, director, and VP-level roles, required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Strong sourcing skills and proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter (required)
Clear, confident communication with leaders at all levels
Calm and flexible under shifting priorities
