Job Title: Marketing and Communications Manager
Location: On-site, Princeton, NJ
Compensation: $30-35/hr.
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp to Hire
Our client, a prestigious private school, is seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to lead and support the marketing efforts across digital, print, and in-person initiatives. This role focuses on promoting the school’s brand, managing day-to-day communications, and supporting admissions and community engagement. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, comfortable working across teams, and able to keep projects moving in a fast-paced environment.
**Our client has a strong preference for candidates that have prior experience working in a private school or higher education setting.**
Responsibilities:
- Run the school’s marketing efforts, including planning, execution, and overall brand direction
- Develop and oversee content across all channels to keep messaging clear and consistent
- Create and carry out marketing plans to support admissions, programs, and events
- Maintain and update the website, keeping content accurate and engaging
- Manage social media, email campaigns, and marketing materials across platforms
- Work with Admissions, Advancement, and leadership to support enrollment and engagement goals
- Assist with events, committees, and outreach to prospective and current families
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of experience in marketing and communications
- Proficiency with FinalSite web design is required
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, social media platforms, and website management
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working with senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
