Affiliate Operations Specialist

Role Overview

The Affiliate Operations Specialist is responsible for the execution and operational infrastructure within Vivint's affiliate program. This role is responsible for networking with and onboarding net new affiliate partners to drive customer acquisition, manage existing affiliate partnerships by maintaining relationships and optimizing campaigns, and ensure program data and resources are maintained at a high standard.

By owning partner relationships, operational workflows and systems, this role enables Affiliate Managers to focus on business development, strategic growth, partner development, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Affiliate Partnership Management

Networking and negotiations with net new affiliate partners

Optimizing existing and new campaigns

Ensure customer acquisition goals are met for managed partnerships

Provide partners with necessary business updates

Monitor full funnel performance

Verifying and monitoring partner compliance

Travel to affiliate conferences

Program Operations & Campaign Execution

Onboarding execution for new affiliate partners, ensuring timely launch readiness

Coordinate cross-functional requests (creative, tracking, compliance, legal) required for partner activation

Support campaign setup, tracking validation, and QA across affiliate platforms (e.g., Awin, Ringba, Leadspedia)

Maintain accurate and up-to-date campaign configurations, links, and partner details

Systems, Data & Reporting

Monitor partner activity and performance trends, flagging anomalies or tracking issues

Support commission validation, reversals, and reconciliation processes

Utilize funnel data points to optimize affiliate campaign performance

Partner Operations & Support

Serve as a main point of contact for owned book of business

Serve as an operational point of contact for affiliate partners

Ensure partners have access to current assets, tracking links, and program requirements

Troubleshoot basic technical or setup issues in collaboration with internal teams

Provide affiliate partner commissions and submit invoicing for timely payment

Compliance & Quality Assurance

Support ongoing compliance monitoring efforts (e.g., call reviews, traffic audits)

Assist in enforcing affiliate program policies and documentation standards

Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to legal guidelines

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in affiliate marketing, marketing, operations, partnerships, or a related field

Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail

Comfortable working with data in Excel (formulas, data validation, etc.)

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Ability to travel 3+ times per year for affiliate conferences out of state

Availability to attend the occasional partner dinner locally

Experience with affiliate platforms or lead gen environments is a plus
