Job Description
Interns specializing in video production play pivotal roles in both strategy and execution within BYU-Pathway Worldwide’s digital outreach initiatives. They oversee day‑to‑day operations of video content creation, craft and implement impactful video campaigns, and strategically use online social media channels to enhance brand visibility and facilitate enrollment growth. The role also involves analyzing, assessing, and reporting on the effectiveness of video campaigns to optimize outcomes.

This full‑time position is remote and typically works Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm.

Responsibilities

Create a diverse range of video advertisements and promotional content for BYU-Pathway Worldwide, including writing, storyboarding, and video editing.

Daily video content creation for our social media channels, sometimes in other languages.

Assist in organizing large libraries of video content, including relevant tags and descriptions.

Help BYU-Pathway communicate its mission and impact through video content.

Qualifications

Strong video editing skills using Premiere Pro.

Excellent planning, organizing, time management, and communication skills.

Ability to proactively overcome obstacles with minimal supervision.

Strong industry awareness of trends in social media performance.

Experience in social media management and online content creation.

Strong understanding of pacing and editing in sync with the narrative flow of video storytelling.

Preferred Skills

Studying Marketing, Business, or Communications with emphasis in Social Media Marketing, Public Relations, or Advertising.

Demonstrated success or university coursework in any of the following fields:

Reels, Video editing, Adobe Premiere Pro, Basic audio editing, Basic color grading, Transcribing and captioning audio, Adobe After Effects, Basic keyframe animation, Adobe Audition, Google Ads, YouTube Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Snapchat Ads, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite.

Spanish, Portuguese, or French language skills preferred.
