Job Description

Creation of marketing assets including email, display ads, web site assets and landing pages, from concept development to coding. Work with IT and ecommerce to optimize the customer experience, including purchase funnel and checkout path, to improve site conversion. Design comps and web page templates to be integrated into the global web site platform. Hand code pages to convert static comps into working, responsive and valid HTML/CSS. Develop object oriented JavaScript/AJAX (jQuery) scripts Enhance brand consistency through creation of design standards and a style guide.
Skill Set

Experience: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, graphic design, a related field, or significant equivalent experience 4+ years in a UI design/developer capacity Superior design skills. Able to quickly assess available assets and pull together high-end graphics. Able to take direction or work independently HTML 5.0/XHTML markup including familiarity with semantics, and clean, maintainable structure. Styling with CSS Strong understanding of responsive design. Excellent knowledge of JavaScript/jQuery, with experience using common patterns (MVC, widgets, modular). Proven track record for creating clean, maintainable code and managing the front-end portion of large web applications. Knowledge of code optimization for page speed performance and SEO optimization J2EE/Java experience preferred. Experience with Adobe Scene 7 a plus
