Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Digital Anchor/Producer who will redefine morning news in the Quad Cities, delivering essential updates with urgency and authenticity wherever our audience is watching. The ideal candidate thrives on innovation and has a passion for local impact.

Responsibilities

Produce digital content by driving the creation of compelling news updates for KWQC.com and all streaming platforms, ensuring our online audience stays informed.

Engage on social media by actively managing and interacting with our community across various social channels.

Front morning news by delivering key stories and updates directly to our broadcast viewers on the QCT morning show at 6 a.m.

Host livestream newscasts by leading the post‑morning show experience with an immediate, engaging livestream at 7 a.m., maintaining digital momentum.

Anchor breaking news by providing calm, authoritative updates throughout the day across all digital channels.

Launch a consistent streaming plan by pioneering and establishing a reliable news streaming schedule during critical times.

Master local storytelling by confidently presenting new, vital information to the Quad Cities community, becoming a trusted local voice.
