Position Overview
Kids In Need Foundation (KINF) is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating equitable learning environments for underserved students and teachers across the U.S. Our mission is to ensure that every Pre‑K–12 student has the essential tools and resources they need to succeed in school. Through our distribution of school supplies, support for teachers, and investment in educational initiatives, we strive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of teachers and students across the country. As we continue to expand our reach and deepen our impact, we are seeking a talented, self‑driven Associate to join our high‑performing team.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management

Create, schedule, publish, and manage monthly social media content across platforms, with a focus on LinkedIn and Instagram.

Develop engaging, mission‑aligned content that supports campaign objectives and organizational goals.

Monitor engagement and respond to audience interactions in a timely and professional manner.

Website Management

Build, update, and maintain website pages for fundraising campaigns and donor‑facing initiatives.

Ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand standards.

Optimize web pages for user experience and donor interaction, including integration with reporting and analytics tools.

Pardot and Salesforce Support

Support the Marketing team in building and managing campaigns within Salesforce, including Pardot/Account Engagement and Data Cloud.

Assist in campaign setup, testing, execution, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Help maintain data integrity and proper campaign tracking.

Photography and Videography

Collaborate with the creative team to capture, review, and edit photo and video content for marketing and partner deliverables.

Assist in selecting assets and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure final outputs align with campaign goals and brand standards.

Campaign Support & Execution

Partner with the Marketing Manager to support donor engagement and acquisition campaigns.

Assist in developing campaign materials, messaging, and timelines.

Support execution of marketing strategies and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.

Analytics & Reporting

Compile and analyze data from marketing campaigns, social media platforms, and donor engagement efforts.

Assist in preparing reports and sharing insights to inform strategy and optimize performance.

Collaboration, Communication, and Task Management

Maintain effective communication with the Marketing Manager, VP of Marketing, and cross‑functional teams.

Track tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects remain on schedule.

Provide regular updates to stakeholders and support coordination with internal teams and external partners.

Brand Compliance and Consistency

Ensure all marketing materials—including social media content, web pages, video, and graphics—adhere to organizational brand guidelines and messaging standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Bachelor Degree in related field preferred.

3+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on social media, content creation, and/or email marketing.

Familiarity with marketing automation software (Salesforce experience, specifically with Pardot/Account Engagement and or Data Cloud, is a plus).

Experience with social media platform content creation and management and their use in nonprofit marketing.

Basic photography and videography skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Proficiency and demonstrable experience in project management.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proactive and creative thinker, with a passion for helping children and educators through effective marketing.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Combination of office and on‑site event work.

Ability to sit for a long period of time.

Occasional evenings and weekends required.

Travel as required, including increased national travel during the Back‑to‑School season, approximately 2 to 3 months to support partner events.

The role requires participation in annual event setup and teardown (ability to lift and move materials up to 30 pounds – bending, lifting, twisting and stretching).

Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $47,250 - $51,450
