The area spans global materials distribution and tailored services in materials management and supply chain management, including an omnichannel architecture and logistics to support customer production processes just-in-time or just-in-sequence.

Responsibilities

Support Traders within the areas of customer service and supplier relations
Proactively manage order requirements from order entry through to completion, including creating customer and supplier contracts and managing related correspondence
Place and manage order entries for Ferrous Metals and Raw Minerals (an understanding of commodity hedging is a plus)
Handle systems work including invoicing/crediting customers, processing supplier/vendor invoices, and broker confirmations
Maintain backlog and ensure accurate information is conveyed to management
Assist with coordination of logistical and supply chain needs related to orders (inland and sea)
Handle import/export documents and procedures
Work in a team environment and communicate effectively with all personnel
Attend meetings with team members as needed
Take on additional duties and responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or comparable experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in Raw Metals & Minerals Trading / Importing
Solid computer skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Basic understanding of market dynamics and its impact on the business
Experience in logistics, customs, and supply chain
Ability to work under pressure

Job Compensation: $61,647.32 - $92,470.97
