Market Research Analyst Intern – Summer 2026

Job Description Summary
The Market Research Analyst Intern will support market analysis and marketing initiatives by researching market trends, analyzing field feedback, and helping identify product segment opportunities. This intern will collaborate with marketing and cross‑functional teams to develop product collateral, support new product development and sustaining projects, and assist in tracking and organizing market data. The seasonal Summer 2026 internship (May 18 – August 14) offers hands‑on exposure to market research, marketing strategy, and business analytics in a real‑world, team‑based environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze feedback from the field and perform appropriate research to understand product segment potential

Understand market segment potential, trends, and needs

Proactively identify and execute on marketing support needs

Design, develop, and launch product collateral and promotional material

Monitor marketing processes and develop new strategies

Define, develop and execute processes for tracking information in online databases

Support marketing activities for NPD and sustaining projects

QUALIFICATIONS

Analytical/Strategic thinking ability and mental agility

Strong attention to detail

Excellent listening and problem‑solving skills

Strong interpersonal communication skills

Proficient in the use of a personal computer with intermediate level of keyboarding skills

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school degree required

Current college education in business, engineering, or related field

MBA, or currently in business school, a plus

Experience solving problems and making recommendations to management

Experience executing projects in a team environment and managing day‑to‑day activities related to project expectations

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, sales representatives, internal teams, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Physical Demands
Employee may be required to sit, bend, stoop, use keyboard, see, talk and hear. May occasionally lift objects up to 25 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Work Environment
This position works in a normal office environment. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate. No travel is required.
