Culture: Staff Core Values
We are extremely driven. We are hungry for growth in every area of our lives. We possess a relentless passion for achieving goals. We have a bias for action. If we make a mistake, we make it full speed. We are the type of people who need to be held back, not pushed. We have a drive for greatness that comes from within and pursue excellence in everything we do. We love living in a fast-paced work environment where things change quickly.
We have high emotional intelligence. We want to have friends and be a friend. We want to hang out with the people we work with, and therefore, we need them to have chemistry with us. We view that as a reality of life and not something we need to overcome. People enjoy collaborating with us. We value both humor and self-awareness. We are not easily offended nor are we seeking to be. We want to have fun!
We are 100% aligned. We are all-in on Mercy Hill Church’s ministry philosophy, vision, and mission. We love the church’s overall goals, and we want them to drive our actions and decisions. We believe that metrics matter in every area of ministry, the weekend is the most important time for discipleship and evangelism, and if people get in the flywheel, they will grow. We are pragmatic to the max and love finding better, practical ways to get the job done.
We are church-wise. We are smart in general and “church smart” in particular. We make good decisions in life and ministry. We consistently conduct ourselves with integrity and protect the reputation of the church through our decisions and actions. We are trustworthy and dependable. We avoid situations that lead to even the appearance of compromise. We have a high reputation. We trust God, and therefore, we have a courageous faith.
