Location: Woodridge, IL 60517
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr
Shift: 3rd Shift
Description: The Production Technician is responsible for the setup, functionality, and troubleshooting of packaging equipment while ensuring production goals and quality standards are met. Primary duties include:
Ensuring necessary equipment/tools are present upon start of shift
Operating and troubleshooting packaging equipment
Performing quality checks at specified intervals to ensure product quality
Filling out production logs to document the day’s activities
Cleaning and sanitizing packaging equipment
Performing weekly preventative maintenance on packaging equipment
Setting up packaging equipment and performing changeovers for various products
Continuously monitoring the performance of packaging equipment
Abiding by safety standards and complying with Good Manufacturing Practices
Other duties as assigned by Line Leader
Physical Conditions: Based in a manufacturing environment and entails long periods of standing and bending. Must be able to lift fifty pounds repetitively.
Important Dress Code & GMP Rules: You must follow these rules while on site:
No shorts; must wear full-length pants
No tank tops, crop tops, cut-off shirts, or short/long sleeve t-shirts
No earrings, necklaces, facial piercings (only plain wedding bands are allowed no stones)
No fake eyelashes, fake nails, or nail polish
No food or drinks on the production floor (water bottles and water coolers are provided)
