Position Description
Acts as the primary liaison to Delta Dental Partner Plans and Affiliates. Responsibilities include account support, relationship building, reporting, quality service delivery, and program strategy to meet client expectations and requirements.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Lead the resolution of complex service needs and ongoing requests, ensuring timely solutions.

Engage with internal and external contacts to review, assess, and deliver strategic, high‑performing results aligned with the Government Programs business model.

Provide consultative training and education to partners on new value‑add service offerings, market updates, innovative benefit approaches, and retention‑based strategies.

Oversee the organization, coordination, and preparation of activities related to business development, bids/RFPs, implementations, renewals, and performance reviews.

Build and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers to retain the current client base and develop new opportunities, including regular engagement via calls, meetings, and conferences.

Monitor and evaluate the assigned book‑of‑business to ensure business strategies align with governmental program financial objectives.

Collaborate with, train, and guide Government Program Sales & Account Management support roles, ensuring overall success of the Partner Engagement team.

Participate in business and professional organizations to develop relationships and expand knowledge.

Minimum Requirements


Bachelor’s degree

in business administration, marketing, or a related field and at least seven years of experience in sales, services for large group accounts, or insurance contract language. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience may be accepted.

• Ability to analyze and resolve problems, use independent judgment, and communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.

• Ability to operate a motor vehicle to implement and service groups.
