Day to Day Responsibilities
Your Work
In this role, you will:
Lead cross-functional teams across multiple business units to align on priorities and develop comprehensive communications strategies.
Develop communication programs that incorporate a full spectrum of tools and tactics (from traditional letters to digital and social media content).
Create communication through the eyes of the customer – developing holistic experiences and meaningful touchpoints.
Use data to measure success and continually optimize results (open rates, response rates, return mail, list health, etc.).
Use communication to mitigate risks through crisis management, constituent engagement, and customer service.
Responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating marketing strategies and plans that drive member engagement and profitable membership growth/retention in support of NPS goals.
Develop holistic experiences and meaningful touchpoints that leverage a variety of tools (consumer engagement, content marketing, content syndication, and email marketing).
Understand the strategic intent of our members and connect the personalized programs to experiences through member-facing marketing assets with landing environments that inspire desired member’s actions and delivers on member’s needs.
Drive successful implementation including approving all technical and artistic phases of marketing collateral and materials; tracking budgets and project deliverables/milestones; managing vendor and internal unit activities and preparing reports and communications on project status to stakeholders.
Your Knowledge and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience.
Knowledge of advanced health insurance marketing principles, healthcare education or behavior change practices and techniques is a plus.
Ability to independently develop, implement and evaluate marketing plans and processes and recommend process improvements.
Excellent cross-functional team, project and organizational leadership skills with attention to details.
Self-starter with initiative and a sense of accountability and ownership.
Ability to influence and align stakeholders and decision makers.
