Technical Writer II

Overview

Darkblade Systems, a CIS Secure company, has an opportunity for a Technical Writer II supporting a new program located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Responsibilities

Collect and organize information for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.

Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents.

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:

This position anticipates standard work hours, Monday-Friday.

TRAVEL:

Limited or minimal travel expected.

Qualifications

CLEARANCE:

Active Top Secret / SCI clearance required.

Potential to upgrade Secret clearance.

EDUCATION:

Associates of Arts or Science OR two-year technical school degree + minimum of 5 years relevant experience OR

High school diploma / GED plus 12 years experience

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience with collecting and organizing information for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.

Minimum of 5 years relevant graphics support experience, or military experience E4 and up.
