Production Technician

* Completes BOS observations and gives meaningful feedback whether positive or corrective* Work within Essity safety standards with a responsibility for others too* Operates process & equipment efficiently.* Is accountable for the performance of his/her equipment.* Able to consistently apply the necessary standards to keep the process under control.* Develops standards (CL, CIL, PM, OPL, WPS, etc.) through observation to gain deep understanding of the equipment.* Troubleshoots stops in a structured way using the available tools: POS, BDE, etc.* Understands the Operation and equipment, what it does/how it works & can carry out CIL (Clean, Inspect, Lubricate) tasks and perform simple maintenance tasks.* Lead changeovers* Order and prepare raw materials and install them on the machine according to Standard Operating Procedures.* Maintain an adequate communication with previous and next shift as well with other persons involved in running the machine.* Maintain optimal housekeeping.* Secure the quality level of the products by regularly checking against the product specification, rejecting and blocking if necessary.* Complete all required documentation and data files during production.* High School or GED required* 1-3 years manufacturing experience* Functional / Technical Skills* Ethics, Values and Integrity* Customer Focus* Effective Team Player* Must be able to work rotating shifts.* United Healthcare PPO / EyeMed Vision Insurance / Delta Dental Insurance* Wellness program provided through Rally* Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)* 401(k) with employer match and annual employer base contribution* Company paid Basic Life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance* Vacation and Paid Holidays* Scholarship program for children of Essity employees.Essity is a leading global hygiene and health company.
