Position Summary
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive social media and Influencer Marketing Manager to support our Marketing Department. The Social Media Marketing Manager leads the strategy and execution of social and influencer marketing to drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue growth, while managing one direct report. This role oversees content, campaigns, and community management across platforms, ensuring alignment with brand and cultural relevance.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy Development & Management:
Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat, aligned with brand and business objectives.
Oversee content planning and creation, ensuring alignment with brand priorities, product marketing calendars, and target audience engagement goals, partner with a coordinator on scheduling and publishing.
Oversee and scale creator seeding for TikTok Shop, including identifying and onboarding creators, coordinating product distribution, and optimizing performance to drive content volume, engagement, and sales conversion.
Continuously monitor platform trends, cultural moments, and competitive activity to inform and optimize content strategy.
Manage performance tracking and reporting, analyzing key metrics to drive insights and actionable recommendations, guide optimization with support from a coordinator.
Influencer Marketing:
Lead the strategy, identification, and recruitment of influencers and brand ambassadors aligned with brand positioning and target audience.
Develop and execute end-to-end influencer campaigns—from concept through launch—ensuring consistency with brand messaging and business objectives.
Oversee contract negotiations and partnership terms, with support from a coordinator on logistics and executional details.
Manage campaign execution in partnership with a coordinator, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and content quality standards are met.
Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, including engagement, reach, and ROI; translate insights into optimization recommendations for future campaigns.
Content Creation and Curation:
Partner with creative teams to develop compelling platform-native content (imagery, video, short-form, and stories) for social and influencer campaigns.
Ensure a consistent brand voice, visual identity, and storytelling approach across all social platforms and touchpoints.
Lead content capture at key moments—including campaign shoots, brand activations, and events—to drive authentic, real-time storytelling; coordinate execution and asset management with support from a coordinator.
Community Engagement:
Oversee day-to-day community management across social platforms, ensuring timely, on-brand responses to customer inquiries and follower interactions; partner with a coordinator to support execution.
Foster a positive and engaging brand presence by actively interacting with the community and amplifying meaningful conversations.
Develop and implement strategies to grow, engage, and retain online communities, strengthening brand affinity and loyalty.
Analytics and Reporting:
Own the measurement and analysis of social and influencer campaign performance, tracking key metrics including engagement, reach, impressions, conversions, and ROI.
Develop and deliver regular performance reports, translating data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Identify trends and optimization opportunities to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and inform future strategy.
Partner with a coordinator to support data collection, reporting cadence, and dashboard maintenance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in social media management and influencer marketing.
Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and trends.
Experience working with influencers across various verticals (e.g., lifestyle, fashion, tech).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in social media analytics and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
Creative mindset with the ability to develop fresh content ideas.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desirable Skills
Experience with paid social media advertising (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.).
Knowledge of SEO and how it ties into social media marketing.
Previous experience in eCommerce, fashion, beauty, or entertainment industries is a plus.

Compensation
Hourly Range:
$70k-80k **
Final offer will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
What To Expect
Schedule:
Full-time role with weekday office hours; occasional evening or weekend work may be required during peak retail seasons.
Work Location:
Irvine, CA — minimum of 4 days per week in‑office.
