Overview
The Manager of Medicare Marketing and Sales will oversee the development and execution of Partnership’s Medicare D‑SNP marketing and sales strategy focused on driving smart and measurable growth. The Marketing manager will lead a team that collaborates with Partnership leadership to understand the unique opportunities within each market and deliver on sales and retention goals.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of Partnership’s D‑SNP marketing and sales strategy to deliver on new member enrollment and member retention targets.

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan aligning with Partnership objectives.

Attend community events (e.g., member‑facing health fairs) to promote enrollment in Partnership’s D‑SNP product.

Monitor and identify changes in the marketing environment and competitive strategies.

Evaluate and adjust marketing strategy (positioning, competitive messaging, etc.) as required and proactively identify new ideas and opportunities to grow Partnership’s D‑SNP enrollment.

Gather member feedback and identify opportunities to align Partnership’s D‑SNP product with member needs and expectations, addressing issues and challenges that may affect sales targets.

Oversee the production of marketing and sales digital and print creative, including engagement with internal departments and external vendors.

Ensure all required member material meets regulatory requirements and work closely with Compliance to meet CMS submission deadlines.

Manage the team’s execution of marketing plans and closely monitor outcomes/metrics, implementing effective tracking mechanisms for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly activities and productivity.

Regularly provide and present updates to key internal and external stakeholders regarding marketing initiatives and impact.

Establish broker oversight, including training the marketing and sales team to ensure product expertise and compliance with sales regulations.

Establish rapid disenrollment monitoring, marketing and sales grievance investigations, and call monitoring.

Initiate and execute on opportunities for sales presentations, community events, and other resident activities within assigned communities to support individual and team enrollment goals, collaborating with clinical teammates to optimize results.

Maintain professional knowledge of Medicare and Medi‑Cal benefits by successfully completing all required training and certifications and attending educational workshops.

Follow all state and federal regulatory guidelines by adhering to sales and marketing requirements established by CMS, MIPPA, DHCS, and other policies and procedures implemented by the Compliance Department.

Participate on assigned committees.

Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and development of employees, fostering an atmosphere of teamwork, establishing individual team member goals, and assisting in the achievement of those goals.

Manage and update internal Marketing and Sales policies.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Three to five (3‑5) years of related experience that provide the knowledge and abilities listed above, including Medicare Advantage marketing and sales within an HMO.

Special Skills, Licenses and Certifications
Working knowledge of computers and related business software applications; basic understanding of Medicare marketing principles; familiarity with California Medi‑Cal program and/or Medicare program preferred. Valid California driver’s license or other approved means of transportation may be required.

Performance Based Competencies
Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain critical relationships with external sources; ability to handle varying situations with tact and diplomacy.

Work Environment And Physical Demands
Ability to use a computer keyboard; more than 15% of work time spent in front of a computer monitor. Must be able to move, lift, or carry objects up to 35 lbs and operate a company vehicle; travel may be required to attend community events.

$118,518.94 - $154,074.63
