Phifer Incorporated is hiring: Advertising Support - Part-time in Tuscaloosa

Overview
We have a part-time position with our Advertising group supporting our literature room that supplies product samples and brochures to our customers. This position would need to be available part-time approximately 20-29 hours a week. During the Fall this position supports Phifer Incorporated's tailgating activities during all University Alabama home football games. Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Check and restock the literature portion of the Customer Service Room.

Check the Exterior Sun Control Products and Insect Screening sections in the 8x10 area for labels. Print labels for the ones needed.

Assist with keeping the literature room stocked and organized including labeling samples.

Cover department phones.

Achieve/maintain forklift certification for inventory movement in Literature warehouse.

Assist with pulling and packing ZLIT orders for customers, trade shows, etc.

Assist with assembling Fenestration and Hardware binders.

Secure Phifer’s tailgate spot early Friday morning before tailgates.

Assist with setup and break down of tailgates on home football game Saturdays. Assist with housekeeping needs during tailgates.

Assist with various Advertising projects (i.e., correction stickers, customer mailings, custom labeling, shrink-wrapping).

Assist with stocking inventory in the Lit Cage.

Learn SAP transactions essential to the literature process. Actively take notes and refer back to them to help learn these functions.

Assist with in-house literature production including printing, cutting, scoring, folding, hole drilling and shrink-wrapping.

Requirements

Part-time availability approximately 20-29 hours per week, with additional responsibilities during Fall tailgating events.

Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.

Ability to cover department phones and assist with miscellaneous Advertising projects.

Willingness to learn SAP transactions and participate in in-house literature production tasks.
