Technical Proposal Writer – US

We are looking for an eloquent, persuasive Technical Proposal Writer to join our team for creating proposals for US Markets. The proposal writer needs to be proficient and updated with knowledge of the technology and software industry. Further, we are looking for someone who can flawlessly articulate, have excellent written communication skills, excellent research skills and be able to work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines. Ultimately, a top-notch proposal writer should be consistent, detail-oriented, and able to write in a factual, convincing manner.
Responsibilities

Include gathering information, formatting the information according to the company's policies, obtaining supervisor approval, and sending the proposal to the appropriate source.
Complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology. Support priority bid opportunities for new business pursuits.
Select photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate materials.
Capture, shape, and synthesize information to reflect a cohesive message, written in one voice.
Study drawings, specifications, mock-ups, and product samples to integrate and delineate technology, operating procedure, and production sequence.
Translate technical information and business jargon into clear, consistent, and grammatically correct content.
Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while working independently or with other writers.
Demonstrate a finely tuned ability to sift through a discussion, extracting the most significant information and action items.
Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
Prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Create other specialized materials as requested to support initiatives.
Create original content and synthesize tactical messaging clearly and concisely.
Experience

Preferred - PMP Certification
Experience in managing IT proposals for US Clients. Experience in handling US Government/Agencies contracts will be preferred.
Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation.
Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail.
Plan, develop, organize, write and edit proposals and manuals.
Research, develop and document technical design specifications.
Excellent written skills in English
Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
