Communications and Social Media Specialist This is an on-site role, reporting out of The Collier Companies Florida Home Office in Gainesville, which offers beautiful natural areas, a temperate climate, and tremendous educational, cultural, and commercial opportunities. The Communications and Social Media Specialist will be responsible for establishing public relations and media opportunities, composing website and print copy, managing online reviews, promoting internal and external awards, managing and promoting The Collier Companies brand and communities, building and scheduling social media content, monitoring social engagement, reach and performance and more.

Qualifications Day to Day responsibilities:
Write and edit publications and press releases
Write and edit industry award submissions
Manage internal communications
Compose community web and brochure copy
Oversee company-wide reviews and reputation
Manage and promote corporate and new development social media accounts
Monitor company-wide social media engagement, reach, and performance
Onboard new TMs with an introduction to marketing
Host monthly marketing training
Develop and execute community-level social media strategies aligned with leasing goals and occupancy needs
Analyze campaign and post performance to optimize engagement, reach, and conversion to tours/leads
Partner with leasing teams to translate traffic trends into actionable marketing strategies
Provide ongoing coaching to onsite teams on social media best practices and engagement strategies
Develop playbooks, templates, and resources for consistent execution across communities
Stay current on platform updates, trends, and algorithm changes to keep strategy relevant
Your Skills – Show Us What You Got Experience with copywriting.
Marketing agency experience is a plus.
Training content and development for social media platforms.
Strong user experience with Meta Business Suite, Instagram, and LinkedIn is required.
Previous leasing or sales experience is a plus.
Entrata experience is a plus.
Knowledge and experience in PR is a plus.
