About the Role As part of a small sales team in a growing startup you will:
Research new market opportunities and prospect new relationships
Attend industry conferences and networking events
Maintain up to date information in our CRM
Schedule meetings with new and existing clients
Craft proposals for commercial engagements and facilitate contract negotiations
Orchestrate the handoff of new business to delivery teams
Requirements Demonstrated success in a business development or sales role in the energy industry
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Passion for teamwork, customer service, and clean energy
Eagerness to continuously learn in a complex and changing business environment
Fluency with Salesforce and Microsoft Excel
Bachelor’s Degree
Desired Skills & Qualifications MBA or other graduate education
Experience with one or more of the following: renewable energy and storage project development, project finance, energy asset management, energy asset operations, or wholesale market participation
