Role Description
This is an on-site, contract-to-hire role for a Video Editor, located in Durham, NC. The contract will start at 3 months with an extension of 3 more months before full time conversion. The Video Editor will handle post-production, including editing raw footage, enhancing visuals, and adding creative motion graphics. Other responsibilities include video color grading, ensuring visual consistency, and collaborating with our creative team to deliver high-quality branded documentary projects that meet client goals.

We're looking for a Video Editor who's fast, reliable, and genuinely passionate about the craft of editing. This is a contract-to-hire position with real potential for full time employment for someone who shows up, delivers, and wants to grow inside a creative production company.

You’ll be editing brand and commercial content, contributing creative ideas, and working closely with a small team that values your input. Travel is part of the job, you'll be on location for shoots alongside the team in some cases. This isn't a remote position. We're in-office, in-person, and we like it that way.

What we're looking for

Strong editing skills with a portfolio that shows it

3-8 years of experience working in a professional video production environment

Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop

Speed matters, working efficiently without sacrificing quality

You're a team player who communicated proactively
