Location: Chicago, IL (Remote with occasional Onsite)
Weekly Hours: 30 hours per week on average

A leading global consumer brand within the FMCG space is seeking a Media Manager to support media strategy, planning, and investment across North America. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, partnering closely with internal marketing teams and external agency partners to drive effective, data-informed media execution across multiple markets.

Responsibilities:

Support the development and execution of media strategy across the North America region

Partner with marketing teams to analyze campaign performance, identify insights, and recommend optimizations

Ensure media campaigns are executed in alignment with approved strategies, budgets, and internal processes

Oversee media planning and buying activities across key markets including the U.S., Mexico, and the U.K.

Manage campaign data and reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and alignment with approved plans

Manage agency relationships and ensure strong service, performance, and alignment with business objectives

Participate in cross-functional meetings with internal stakeholders and agency teams to guide media strategy and execution

Monitor competitive activity and industry trends within the FMCG category to inform strategic recommendations
Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field

5+ years of experience in media planning, buying, or strategy (agency and/or in-house)

Strong understanding of digital media channels and performance metrics

Experience working within FMCG, CPG, or similarly fast-paced consumer categories
Preferred Skills: Experience supporting media strategies with budgets of $10M+

Familiarity with DSP platforms such as The Trade Desk, Epsilon, or similar

Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights
