We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor to join a dynamic, remote creative team focused on producing high-quality educational content. This role requires strong technical editing expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering engaging video experiences—especially in music-related content.
Responsibilities

Edit video content following direction from the Team Lead across multiple ongoing projects
Sync 5–9 camera video and audio files using

DaVinci Resolve
Create and adjust multicam sequences, including picture-in-picture layouts
Enhance videos with music, sound effects, transitions, and graphics as instructed
Apply word-highlighting animations synced to vocal performances
Refine pre-edited content by correcting timing, cuts, and camera angles
Integrate graphic notation into lessons and ensure synchronization with audio
Maintain organized project files and manage multiple deliverables efficiently
Track progress using spreadsheets or task management tools
Qualifications

Proven experience in video editing with multiple deliverables
Proficiency in

DaVinci Resolve

(personal account required)
Experience with remote workflows (e.g., Parsec, Jump Desktop)
Familiarity with Slack and task management tools like Asana
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent English communication (written and verbal)
Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment
Understanding of music theory, rhythm, and structure for editing music-based content
High-speed, reliable internet connection
Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
Schedule & Availability

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Pacific Time – GMT-8)
