Key Responsibilities

Report and write 2-3 stories weekly about the South Bay food scene
Develop sources and pitch original story ideas through social media and public records
Collaborate with video and audience teams to create food videos for social media platforms

Required Qualifications

At least two years of experience in a daily newspaper, magazine, or web publication as a reporter or editor
Demonstrated expertise in reporting and writing with strong news judgment
Ability to respond quickly to breaking news and manage multiple projects
Interest in business reporting and a passion for the food and restaurant beat
Experience collaborating with various newsroom teams in a fast-paced environment
