The Marketing Strategy Manager at FNBO develops and implements comprehensive marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention throughout the customer lifecycle. This role creates integrated marketing plans aligned to business objectives that meet specific customer behaviors and growth targets. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize marketing performance across all channels while maintaining profitability. The Marketing Strategy Manager oversees campaign strategy, offer development, and performance analytics to continually refine approaches based on market insights and financial outcomes.
Job Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Strategic Behavior Planning Define the desired customer behaviors that drive growth and partner needs, address key business challenges, and develop integrated marketing strategies to drive those behaviors across the lifecycle.
Business & Customer Insight Maintain deep understanding of business objectives, target audiences, competitive landscape, and product offerings.
Integrated Marketing Plan Development Create strategic marketing plans including targeting, messaging, learning agendas, and segmentation to drive new customer acquisition and engagement. Own and manage the marketing product hierarchy to ensure alignment across campaigns and systems.
Cross-Functional Optimization and Support Partner with Performance Marketing to bring strategic plans to life through effective creative execution across all channels for acquisition & customer management. Collaborate with Product and Vertical teams to refine acquisition funnel strategies and improve conversion efficiency at each stage.
Profitability & Channel Efficiency Ensure marketing strategies align with profitability goals across Acquisition and Customer Management, optimizing spend and performance across channels.
Campaign Performance & P&L Input Lead reporting and analysis for strategic campaigns and manage P&Ls where appropriate to assess financial performance.
The Ideal Candidate for This Role: Key Skills:
Strategic Marketing Planning - Expert ability to develop integrated marketing strategies that drive specific customer behaviors aligned with business objectives across the full customer lifecycle
Business & Market Intelligence – Ability to incorporate complex business goals, customer insights, competitive analysis, and product knowledge into actionable marketing strategies
Financial & Performance Analysis - Analyze campaign performance, managing marketing P&Ls, optimizing channel economics, and ensuring marketing strategies support profitability goals
Cross-Functional Leadership - Collaborates with Performance Marketing, Product, and Vertical teams to optimize acquisition funnels and execute cohesive marketing initiatives across channels
Customer Journey Expertise - Deep understanding of customer acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies with ability to develop targeted marketing approaches for each lifecycle stage
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
7+ years of experience in marketing driving business strategy through analytics, data and defined outcomes.
Experience working with executives and senior leaders, advising on customer acquisition and retention.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic vision with multiple inputs and stakeholders.
Up to 20% travel
Desired:
Experience working in financial services, credit card or related industries is a strong advantage.
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
Compensation:
Compensation range (base pay): $81,662.00-$134,741.00
This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.
Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
Work Environment:
It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays.
