Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Production Artist to join our team in Denville, NJ. In this full-time, on-site role, you will play a critical part in transforming design concepts into high-quality, production-ready visual assets — including printed graphics, custom signs, custom wallpapers, etcs. You will work closely with our team to refine artwork, prepare files for large-format printing and CNC fabrication, and ensure every detail meets the highest standards of quality and brand accuracy in fast-paced retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

Refine and finalize design concepts into print-ready artwork for retail signage, wall graphics, murals, wallpaper, etcs.

Create and optimize files for wallpaper, large-format graphics, repeating patterns, and more.

Develop and enhance realistic textures and materials for both digital and physical applications

Prepare high-resolution files suitable for various printing methods and substrates

Ensure color accuracy and visual consistency across different

lighting temperatures

(e.g., warm, cool, and daylight conditions) commonly found in retail settings

Collaborate closely with the team to execute creative direction while maintaining technical precision

Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues to meet tight deadlines

Maintain organized file structures and follow established production workflows

As needed travel to client sites, installations, or project support

Qualifications

Proficiency

in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (advanced skill level required)

Strong experience in print production and creating compelling, high-quality visual assets

Excellent skills in digital art, graphic design, and texture creation/realism

Deep understanding of print best practices, including color management, resolution requirements, and how lighting conditions affect final printed output

Ability to create seamless wallpaper/repeating pattern files and realistic material textures

Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently meet deadlines

Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative

Comfort with occasional travel for site visits, or production oversight

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred)

Relevant experience in retail, merchandising, environmental graphics, or experiential design is a

plus

CNC router experience is a strong plus. We're particularly interested in candidates who understand how to create and optimize custom router files for detailed carving and intricate designs.
