What You'll Do
- Lead PR strategy for financial services clients
- Oversee day-to-day account management and keep projects moving on schedule
- Serve as a senior contact for clients and provide strategic counsel
- Develop story ideas, messaging, media plans, and communications strategies
- Write and edit press releases, media pitches, thought leadership pieces, bylines, and other client materials
- Pitch reporters, editors, producers, and podcast hosts to secure meaningful coverage
- Build and maintain strong media relationships across business, finance, and consumer outlets
- Mentor junior team members and help them strengthen their media relations and client management skills
- Support new business efforts and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts
What We're Looking For
- Experience working in a PR agency environment
- Direct experience managing financial services clients
- Strong media relationships and a proven ability to secure coverage that matters
- Experience placing stories across print, digital, broadcast, podcasts, and speaking opportunities
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Confidence managing clients, presenting ideas, and navigating challenging conversations when needed
- Ability to lead projects and teams while balancing multiple priorities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what needs to happen next

Compensation
Base salary range: $110,000–$125,000, depending on experience, expertise, and overall fit.
