Lead Technical Writer

Lead Technical Writer Location: San Jose, CA, 95117 Duration: 12 Months
This role will primarily be responsible for looking across Cisco Commerce platform to ensure consistency and alignment with best practices for UI copy. You will work closely with UX Designers and UX Researchers to create and test prototypes with users. You will be able to prioritize focus areas, such as error text, in line notes or help content, tooltips, modals, etc. Most of these products have not had dedicated Content Design work, so it will be critical to begin with an in depth review and analysis of the main pain points and then create strategies for improvement. You must be detail oriented, extremely collaborative, and able to self manage a fairly large scope of work to a deadline. We really need someone with more technical writing experience vs general UX.
