Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to be the frontline salesperson who is responsible for the execution of agreed sales and profitability targets established by the business within the assigned sales area by developing new business and expanding the business with existing customers.
Territory Area
Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon (must reside in these areas or surrounding area).
Key Responsibilities
To manage a portfolio of customers, in a designated area, to execute sales plan.
Screening customer base for new opportunities, generate leads and maintain pipeline.
Provide appropriate and agreed levels of contact, service and support to ensure sales targets are met.
Monitor sales against agreed targets on a regular basis to ensure they are met and, where necessary, identify, report and implement remedial actions.
Collect, report and analyze customer feedback and information on current and future market trends in the context of possible further market penetration.
Promote the positive company image and develop long‑term relationships with customers.
Job Requirements
Knowledge & work experience: B2B industry environment, preferably in the paint/coatings industry. 3–5 years of experience in commercial sales, key‑account management and sales to strategic accounts.
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
Skills: stakeholder management, project management, decision making, creation of value propositions, drive, results orientation, customer service orientation, problem solving, communication and presentation, commercial and business acumen.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range for this role is: $84,000 to $96,000. This is the range we anticipate when setting wages for this position; it may be modified in the future.
