Whoa Dough is a fast growing CPG snack brand on a mission to make delicious gluten free, vegan, and allergen friendly treats more accessible to everyone. Our products are rapidly expanding across retail, airlines, schools, and e-commerce, and we’re looking for a creative, organized, and entrepreneurial Social Media & Community Coordinator to help grow the brand online and in the real world.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes social media, content, and community building. You’ll help create engaging content, grow our online audience, support influencer partnerships, manage community engagement, and assist with trade shows and brand events.
We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, creative, proactive, and excited to help build a rapidly growing food brand.
Content & Social Media
Create and schedule engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, and Reddit
Assist with short-form video creation, trend research, and influencer collaborations
Help manage the social content calendar around launches, promotions, and campaigns
Write captions and content that reflect Whoa Dough’s fun and energetic brand voice
Monitor social trends, viral content, and emerging opportunities
Community & Influencer Engagement
Engage with customers and online communities across social platforms
Help build relationships with gluten-free, vegan, and wellness influencers
Encourage and repost user-generated content (UGC)
Support giveaways, sampling programs, and community activations
Events & Trade Shows
Manage with planning and coordination for trade shows and events
Help manage vendor communication, event materials, travel logistics, and shipments
Support booth setup, execution, and breakdown at select events
Analytics & Growth
Track social media performance and engagement metrics
Help identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, and conversions
Assist with weekly reporting and marketing insights

What We’re Looking For
1–2 years of experience in social media, content creation, community management, or digital marketing
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Passion for food, wellness, and social media culture
Understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and modern social trends
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows and events
Comfortable creating or appearing in short-form video content
Bonus Skills
Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content tools
Familiarity with AI-powered marketing and content tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms
Experience working with influencers or creator partnerships is a plus
Gluten-free, wellness, or CPG industry experience is a plus
