Minimum Qualifications

10 years of experience leading negotiations or business development.
Experience working with public policy teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.
Experience with technical infrastructure developments and executing cross‑functional projects.
Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing and executing strategies to deliver exceptional solutions.
Experience working in Public Affairs within Missouri or Kansas.
Ability to identify opportunities and areas for improvement, operate independently and in a fast‑moving environment.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $177,000‑$257,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Build and maintain critical relationships with government officials, community leaders, and key opinion formers to secure a positive, sustainable, and collaborative operating environment for our facilities.
Develop, lead, and execute complex, multi‑state public affairs strategies and campaigns that proactively safeguard the data center lifecycle across both existing and future markets.
Serve as a key ambassador and advocate for Google’s priorities, amplifying our economic, energy, sustainability, and social contributions to position our presence as a local team for growth and innovation.
Partner closely with a broad range of internal teams and external stakeholders to drive data center market development projects seamlessly from concept to completion.
Translate corporate and technical initiatives into tangible, highly visible local benefits that align with and support community priorities.
