Junior UI/digital Designer

Position
Contractor – Digital Designer (Jr.) – hybrid, Mettawa, IL

Compensation
Hourly rate: $29.50 – $31.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

Design digital deliverables including websites, landing pages, banner ads, email assets, interactive PDFs and tablet‑based modules.

Create user interfaces adhering to established UX/UI best practices and support an Interactive Medical Aid used on iPads.

Design and update large, content‑heavy PowerPoint presentations (50–60% of workload), including templates, animations, video, and data visualizations.

Interpret complex clinical, scientific, and medical data to produce graphs, infographics, and visual narratives while ensuring compliance with FDA and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with medical writers, account managers, designers, and developers; manage multiple projects simultaneously and jump into existing design files efficiently.

Use Adobe Creative Cloud and Acrobat, source photography and vectors, and manage review cycles through annotations.

Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Acrobat, macOS.

Qualifications & Requirements

Portfolio required – must include website and landing page work, interactive PDFs, banner ads, email, interactive PowerPoint presentations, and tablet‑based tools.

Portfolio should exclude social media posts and print work.

Strong UI/UX skills; experience designing for regulated, structured medical content.

Comfortable working in a hybrid, fast‑paced environment.

Valid U.S. work authorization and eligibility for benefits (see eligibility).
