Jr. Digital Designer (Contractor)

Location
Hybrid – Mettawa, IL (not remote)

Key Responsibilities

Design digital deliverables: websites, landing pages, banner ads, email assets, interactive PDFs and tablet-based modules.

Support the Interactive Medical Aid field tool on iPads, focusing on layout, navigation, and usability.

Create assets that are handed off to developers, ensuring clear, organized, and technically sound designs.

Design and update large, content‑heavy, interactive PowerPoint presentations (50–60% of workload); develop templates, masters, animations, transitions, video, and data visualization.

Interpret complex clinical, scientific, and medical data to produce graphs, charts, infographics, and visual narratives while adhering to FDA and regulatory guidelines.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams: medical writers, account managers, designers, developers, and stakeholders; manage multiple projects and review cycles via Adobe Acrobat; source photography and vectors from stock libraries and internal databases.

Qualifications

Portfolio required: websites, landing pages, interactive PDFs, banner ads, email assets, interactive PowerPoint presentations.

Portfolio should NOT include social media posts or print work.

Strong UI/UX design skills with experience on regulated content.

Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Adobe Acrobat for review cycles.

Comfortable working in a Mac environment.

Effective communicator capable of jumping into existing projects and working from another designer’s files.

Pay & Benefits

Hourly rate: $29.50 – $31.00 per hour.
