Job Description
The Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication (HSJMC) in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota occasionally needs temporary, part-time employees to carry out various projects and provide support in the following areas: administration, communications, community engagement, events, technology and research. This does not constitute a posting for vacancies, but establishes a pool of applicants should openings occur during the 2024-2025 academic year. Applications will not be acknowledged upon receipt and will only be reviewed should openings occur. Appointments may be renewable based on need, funding, and performance.

Qualifications
B.A. degree in journalism, mass communication, strategic communication/advertising, public relations, or a closely related field with an emphasis in journalism, mass communication, or strategic communication/advertising, or public relations.

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range:

$16.00 - $51.00 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
