Summary
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Social Media Manager on behalf of our client, an elevated retail brand based in lower Manhattan. This role is primarily focused on leading and evolving the brand’s social media strategy, content planning, and day-to-day channel management. The Social Media Manager will own the brand’s social media presence end to end and play a supporting role in influencer and affiliate initiatives through sourcing, creative briefs, and coordination. This is a hands‑on role for someone who is both strategic and detail‑oriented, with strong instincts for content, community, and brand storytelling.

Responsibilities

Lead social media strategy, planning, and execution across key platforms

Own the social content calendar, ensuring consistent, on‑brand posting aligned with campaigns, launches, and seasonal initiatives

Write, edit, and review social copy while collaborating on creative direction

Manage scheduling, publishing, and day‑to‑day channel oversight

Monitor community engagement and partner with internal teams to support timely, on‑brand responses

Track social media performance and translate insights into recommendations to inform content and channel strategy

Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure social media efforts align with broader brand and marketing goals

Support influencer and affiliate initiatives in a coordinated, strategic capacity

Assist with sourcing and selecting creators for key brand moments and campaigns

Develop creative briefs and guidelines for influencers and external partners

Coordinate influencer and affiliate participation around launches, promotions, and seasonal initiatives

Partner with external agencies or platforms supporting affiliate execution, as needed

Maintain organized records related to creators, gifting, links, and performance summaries

Qualifications

4–6 years of experience in social media management or adjacent digital marketing roles

Demonstrated experience managing brand social media accounts with an emphasis on both strategy and execution

Familiarity with influencer and affiliate marketing ecosystems, with experience coordinating or supporting these efforts

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

Comfortable working with performance data and reporting insights

Strong written communication skills and attention to detail

Experience within fashion, apparel, or consumer retail preferred

Ability to work onsite in lower Manhattan
