Photographers - Graduation Ceremonies

GradImages™ — Photographers
GradImages®, a division of Balfour & Co., is seeking dependable, energetic individuals to join our team as Photographers for graduation events in and around Columbus, OH.

All candidates will first complete a brief phone interview. Qualified applicants will then be invited to an in‑person interview locally between March and April (Saturday or Sunday). Applicants will be contacted with their scheduled date, time, and location.

Photographers typically earn $90+ per event. Events generally last 3–5 hours. Mileage, tolls, and parking fees are reimbursed.

November – December

Open or flexible availability during these months is strongly preferred. Graduation events are often on weekends, but not always.

What We’re Looking For

Friendly, professional demeanor

Strong time management and communication skills

Reliable transportation to events (mileage reimbursed)

At least 1 year of DSLR camera experience

Dress Code Requirements

Conservative business suit

Dark colors only (to keep focus on graduates)

Hair must be natural‑looking, clean, and neatly styled

No non‑traditional hair colors

No facial piercings

Tattoos must be fully covered at all times

What You’ll Do as a Photographer

Use Nikon DSLR equipment (provided)

Capture high‑quality posed and candid images

Set up and tear down photography equipment

Work closely with team members to ensure smooth event flow

No editing or post‑processing required

New Photographers may begin by shadowing or assisting photographers during initial events as part of training.
