About the Role
Nappy Boy Enterprises is looking for an Apparel Designer to help bring our merchandise and apparel to life, from concept through production.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who can design graphics, develop products, and execute production‑ready deliverables. You will work closely with our Head of Merchandise and creative team to build product lines across apparel and accessories.

We are looking for someone who can take direction and

own the process end‑to‑end , ensuring designs translate into high‑quality, production‑ready products.

What You Will Do

Create original graphics for apparel and merchandise (tees, fleece, outerwear, cut‑and‑sew, accessories)

Develop product concepts, placements, and full garment designs

Build CADs and detailed tech packs (BOM, measurements, construction details, placement guides)

Review samples and provide clear feedback on fit, construction, and quality

Collaborate with internal teams and external factory partners throughout development

Track projects from concept through production and maintain organized files

Stay current with fashion, streetwear, and cultural trends, applying insights to product design

What We Are Looking For

3+ years of experience in apparel design, technical design, or a related role

Strong ability to create

original graphics for apparel and merchandise

Advanced proficiency in: Adobe Illustrator (CADs, vector work, tech packs) and Adobe Photoshop (graphics and mockups)

Experience creating production‑ready tech packs

Solid understanding of garment construction, fit, and manufacturing processes

Ability to manage multiple projects and move quickly in a fast‑paced environment

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Nice to Have

Experience with

CLO 3D, Gerber, or similar apparel design software

Background in cut‑and‑sew garments or more complex product development

Experience working with factories and managing sample revisions

Interest in music, entertainment, and culture‑driven brands

What Success Looks Like

Ability to take a product from concept to production with minimal oversight

Delivery of 1–2 product lines within the first 90 days

Clear, production‑ready tech packs that minimize revision cycles

Strong alignment with brand identity and creative direction
