Senior Producer, Show
As the Senior Producer, Show you will lead the Creative team, project documentation, and manage vendor deliverables. The role involves overseeing Show Producers and managing project documentation, ensuring all team members have up-to-date scope, budget, schedule, and procurement information, and collaborating with project management to write RFP documents and manage vendors.
Responsibilities
Oversees Show Producers and Creative Team members, supporting the organization and submission of all project‑related documentation required for third‑party Intellectual Property (IP) approval and ensuring the database reflects accurate records of all pertinent project correspondence and listed show/ride elements.
Accountable for ensuring that all project team members have complete and current information on project scope, budget, schedule, procurement and development strategies.
Partners with project management in the development, processing, and writing of RFP Documents required to procure needed show elements for each attraction. As assigned, is responsible for writing required scopes and managing vendors.
Establishes, builds, and maintains positive and productive team relationships based on open communication, trust and teamwork with project partners, departments, disciplines, and personnel. Communicates, inspires, and maintains project intent among all team‑members. Acts as project liaison for appropriate internal and external partners, licensors, and intellectual property developers. Facilitates organization and reporting of project team meetings and maintains and drives action item lists with responsibilities, duties, and current status.
Oversees the project's producers to complete special assignments, and is responsible for managing scope and themed elements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred from a four‑year college or university in Theatrical Arts, Theme Park Associated Design, or a related field.
9+ years' experience in theatrical, theme park or other media‑related design/production field required; 3+ years' experience as a Show Producer in theme park attraction projects from design through installation required; 8+ years' experience in theme park design and design management preferred.
Ability to review and understand architectural, engineering, and ride/show documentation including specifications and blueprints, and understanding of production/design terminology is required.

Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, bid package preparation and a variety of vendors.
Knowledge of theme park technologies, including ride, A/V, robotics, engineering and various show systems.
Knowledge of theme park related architectural, project management and production/construction practices.
Demonstrates ability to lead staff, instill a spirit of teamwork and promote staff development.
Makes independent choices free from immediate supervision.
Possesses solid aesthetic sensibilities and storytelling skills to support the creative process and to facilitate communication between all disciplines.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Demonstrates active listening and effective questioning techniques.
Additional Requirements
Required On‑Site: This position is required to be performed full‑time from an NBCUniversal‑designated worksite.
Benefits and Salary
This position is eligible for company‑sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $110,000–155,000 (bonus eligible).
