Summary of Position
We’re looking for a motivated, tech-savvy sales professional to join our growing Legal Marketing team. This isn’t a hand-holding role. We want someone who can hit the ground running, speak the language of digital marketing, and be confident having consultative sales conversations with marketing executives and attorneys. If you know your way around SEO and paid media, love the chase of a new deal, and want uncapped earning potential, this is your seat.
You’ll work independently and as part of a collaborative team, owning the full sales cycle from outreach to close. You’ll thrive here if you’re self-directed, tech-fluent, and energized by helping law firms grow.
We welcome candidates from a wide range of legal and legal-adjacent sales backgrounds. If you’ve sold to attorneys, law firms, or legal departments, we want to hear from you. You already know how to get a busy attorney’s attention and earn their trust. We’ll teach you the rest.
Position Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities to achieve individual and team sales targets
Prospect and generate leads through various channels, including outbound outreach, referrals, networking, and industry events
Own the full sales cycle from initial contact to close, using a consultative and client-first approach
Present iLawyerMarketing’s SEO, AEO, paid search, social media, and web design solutions to attorneys and law firms, connecting our services directly with their growth goals
Maintain accurate CRM records, including deal stages, activities, and client communications
Build trust and credibility with prospects and clients by delivering value and exceptional service
Work closely with the marketing team to align on lead generation efforts and messaging
Partner with account managers and internal teams to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments
Provide regular pipeline updates and performance reports to leadership
Requirements
At least 3+ years of sales or business development experience in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
Comfortable selling to attorneys, legal industry experience is a plus. Ideal background is in legal tech or digital marketing/SAAS.
A working knowledge of SEO, paid media, and digital marketing. You don't need to be an expert, but be comfortable speaking to it
Proven ability to prospect and close. Show us your numbers.
Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
Excellent communication skills, you can simplify complex topics and make people feel heard
CRM proficiency and comfort with sales tech tools
Self-starter mentality, you don't need to be told what to do
Ability to travel domestically for client meetings and events
JD or legal background a plus, but not required
Compensation
The starting compensation for this salaried exempt opportunity includes a base salary of $90,000, along with an uncapped commission incentive plan with on-target earnings estimated at $300,000 total. This target base compensation is subject to multiple factors including role level, experience, and location.
