Summary
ID Sculpture designs and manufactures climbing boulders, playground sculptures, and fine art sculptures for parks, schools, and public spaces across the country. We use a combination of technology and traditional methods to create unique interactive environments.
Ideal candidates possess a positive attitude, good work ethic and are eager to learn. Applicants must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance. Initial responsibilities are to provide general labor and assist artists, fabricators and shipping departments as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. The Intern uses their growing skill set to support preproduction, design, and sales with specific tasks related to product management.
2. Create production files for sandblast masks and plaques.
3. Fabrication of IDS plaques.
4. Manage Polycam library, capturing 3D scans of products as needed.
5. Supports Product Manager with maintaining and improving product libraries.
6. Supports Sales Manager and Design Manager with product and/or project related requests.
7. Assist with maintaining product fidelity across the website and catalog.
8. Protect and promote the culture of IDS.

Education and/or Experience
• Students of design and/or engineering disciplines preferred, or 2 year's experience in the same.
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability
Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have computer skills and be proficient in productivity and modelling applications. Relevant software includes Rhinoceros, ArchiCAD, Adobe Suite, Smartsheet, Salesforce, Microsoft Office.
Other Skills
