Graphic Designer

Kforce has a client located in Beaverton, OR recruiting for a Technical Graphic Designer.

Responsibilities

Taking graphics from Graphic Designers and executing them for Production

Creating tech pack schematics and making good design decisions

Requirements

Graphic Design degree or similar

1+ years of experience with schematic or graphic production design (packaging, print design, footwear, technical graphic design, book design, typography, etc.)

Understand design thinking but this is not a conceptual design role

Interested in production, technical side of design, building schematics

Portfolios: Some design schematics, has range as a graphic designer, digital design for print design, labeling design dimensions, separating layers, packaging design; Looking for graphic design portfolios that are more technical and show process work for things like print, book or product design; Not looking for illustration or branding heavy portfolios, or portfolios that focus on concept work

Nice to Have

Knowledge of pre-press, screen printing, trims, printing process, typography

Adobe illustrator, pre-press color separations, maintaining files for product design

Strong footwear interest

Pay and Benefits
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
