Role Overview
As an Enterprise Architect focused on collaboration and digital experience technologies, you will define and guide the vision for audiovisual systems, virtual meeting platforms, digital signage, and streaming solutions across a large, globally distributed organization. This role operates as a senior technical authority, partnering across IT, operations, and business teams to ensure that collaboration tools are reliable, secure, and aligned with evolving organizational needs. While you will not directly manage a team, your influence will extend across multiple functions and regions.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Roadmapping
Develop and maintain long‑term technology strategies for conferencing, digital communication, and collaboration platforms. Identify emerging trends and recommend innovations that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Architectural Standards & Governance
Establish and enforce technical standards, design principles, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability across global deployments.
System Design & Integration
Lead the evaluation and integration of hardware, software, and cloud‑based solutions, ensuring cohesive performance across audiovisual systems, virtual meeting platforms, and digital signage technologies.
Operational Excellence
Define best practices for system reliability, uptime, and supportability. Continuously refine processes and infrastructure to optimize performance across locations and environments.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and operational leaders to align technology solutions with organizational goals and user needs.
Program & Initiative Leadership
Drive large‑scale modernization efforts, system upgrades, and global technology initiatives, ensuring successful delivery and long‑term sustainability.
Vendor & Partner Management
Evaluate technology providers, lead technical negotiations, and manage vendor relationships to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions that meet enterprise standards.
Performance & Compliance Oversight
Ensure all systems meet performance expectations, security requirements, and compliance standards while staying within approved budgets.
What You Bring
Enterprise Architecture Expertise
Extensive experience designing and governing large‑scale collaboration and digital communication systems within complex environments.
Technical Proficiency
Deep knowledge of modern conferencing platforms, unified communications tools, and digital experience technologies.
Strategic Thinking
Ability to connect technology decisions to long‑term business outcomes and user experience improvements.
Influence Without Authority
Proven ability to lead initiatives and drive alignment across cross‑functional teams in a matrixed organization.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Strong experience working with external partners and internal stakeholders to deliver successful technology solutions.
Communication Skills
Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Approximately 8+ years of experience in enterprise audiovisual systems, unified communications, digital signage, or related collaboration technologies.
Demonstrated success architecting and implementing large‑scale, global technology solutions.
Professional certifications related to audiovisual design, collaboration platforms, or enterprise architecture (preferred).
Experience leading enterprise‑wide standardization or transformation initiatives.
Familiarity with IT service management frameworks, cybersecurity best practices, and emerging technologies such as AI‑driven collaboration tools.
Work Environment
This position is based onsite within a corporate office setting and involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
