Our client is seeking a Social Media Manager to take full ownership of building and scaling social into a true growth engine for a fast‑growing consumer brand in the odor elimination space. This is not a maintenance role. This is an opportunity to shape how a brand shows up in the world, drive real business impact, and create content that performs.

You Will:

Build and scale social presence across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms

Concept, shoot, and edit content or direct creators to produce high‑performing content

Translate everyday consumer problems into engaging, relatable, and shareable content

Continuously test hooks, formats, messaging, and trends to identify what drives engagement

Partner with influencers and creators to expand reach and drive performance

Use performance data to guide creative decisions and optimize results

Collaborate with marketing leadership to align social strategy with broader growth goals

Own content output and ensure consistent, modern, and distinctive brand presence

You Have:

3-5+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing

Proven ability to create content that performs, either for a brand or personal channels

Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends, formats, and algorithms

Hands‑on content creation skills, including shooting, editing, or directing content

Strong instincts for storytelling, hooks, pacing, and audience engagement

Experience working with influencers or creator partnerships is a plus

Background in consumer brands, CPG, DTC, or Amazon‑driven businesses is a plus

Ability to move quickly, iterate, and take ownership of results

Logistics:

Start Date/Duration: ASAP, full‑time hire

Hours/Week: 40 Hours/Week

Onsite/Offsite: Hybrid in Palatine, IL, Remote on Monday and Friday

Laptop/Software Requirements: Client‑provided laptop

Background Check: Yes

Salary: $80K−$100K DOE
