Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Web and Interface Designer to design, develop, and maintain web‑based enterprise applications supporting Video Management Systems (VMS). This role blends UX design, frontend and backend development, and systems analysis. You will translate complex technical and business requirements into intuitive, high‑performance interfaces, while collaborating closely with engineering teams and executive leadership. The ideal candidate has experience designing for real‑time video environments and understands how system architecture, streaming protocols, and performance constraints influence user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web‑based enterprise applications for VMS, including detailed functional specifications, UI/UX documentation, data flow diagrams, and system architecture

Create wireframes, high‑fidelity mockups, style guides, and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

Collaborate with executive leadership to translate strategic business goals into UX roadmaps, interface priorities and measurable experience improvements

Work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and QA teams to align UX designs with APIs, data models, real‑time video system constraints and system performance requirements

Conduct UX research and usability analysis using surveys, structured feedback, and tools such as Qualtrics to optimize workflows and interface efficiency

Analyze and define technical specifications, including hardware/software requirements and technology stacks for cost‑effective implementation

Evaluate real‑time streaming protocols (e.g., RTSP, WebSocket, ONVIF) and incorporate their constraints into responsive, low‑latency video playback and monitoring workflows

Perform systems analysis to define requirements that inform interface design, including communication protocols (REST, JSON, WebSocket), data exchange formats, and device/browser compatibility

Define and apply performance benchmarks (latency, throughput, load) to ensure responsive user experiences in high‑volume video environments

Write, test, debug, and deploy code using technologies such as C#, C++, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and related frameworks

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum of 2 years of experience in web application development and/or UX design

Proficiency in frontend and backend technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C#, C++, and modern frameworks such as React

Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and usability best practices

Experience working with APIs, data models, and system integrations

Ability to create clear technical documentation, specifications, and system designs

Understanding of real‑time systems and performance‑driven application design

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Video Management Systems (VMS) or video streaming applications

Familiarity with streaming protocols such as RTSP, ONVIF, and WebSocket
