Associate Account Executive (R-19042)

Overview In this role, you will support the Company’s growth in selling products and services to new and existing small business clients through remote channels such as telephone and virtual consultations. You will identify the unique needs of small business customers and deliver tailored solutions that support their growth. You will contribute to maintaining and growing revenue by supporting renewal efforts and identifying opportunities for cross‑sell and up‑sell. This role serves as a development path into our Small Business sales roles, offering hands‑on experience, strong training, and the opportunity to build essential sales skills for long‑term career growth.

Essential Responsibilities

Qualify leads based on Budget Authority Need and Timeline (BANT) and pass to the appropriate internal Small Business Sales team.

Conduct a needs-based assessment and transition the customer’s needs to the best product and solutions available within the scope of the role, and pass when opportunity arises.

Develop an in-depth understanding of all the Small Business product suite’s features, functionality, and benefits.

Effectively manage and follow up on assigned leads, ensuring a seamless transition from lead to client engagement.

Provide customized solutions based on the unique requirements of the prospect, ensuring alignment with their goals and objectives.

Nurture leads through sequenced outreach, timely follow-ups, and appointment setting where applicable.

Complete the required number of outbound calls on a daily basis to qualify prospects and schedule appointments for the Account Executives (Outbound).

Education & Experience

Required Years of Relevant Experience: 2 to 4 years

High School Degree: Required

Associate's Degree: Preferred

Bachelor's Degree: Preferred

Essential Skills and/or Certifications

An assertive, persistent, self-motivated professional who is a strong listener with a positive attitude and a limitless amount of energy.

Possess an aptitude for quickly grasping selling techniques and product knowledge.

Experience selling an intangible product and/or inside sales experience is strongly preferred.

Has a proven track record of achieving/exceeding quota and ability to thrive in a high volume, high energy, fast-paced, sales-driven call center environment.

Computer knowledge with good communication, organizational and time management skills.

Clear, confident phone presence; excellent active listening and objection handling.

Comfortable initiating contact with unfamiliar prospects and driving engagement through effective phone outreach.

Maintains energy, professionalism, and consistency while handling large volumes of outreach and frequent rejection.

Show an ownership mindset in everything you do; be a problem solver, be curious and be inspired to take action, be proactive, seek ways to collaborate and connect with people and teams in support of driving success.
